For the most part I believe structured editing is dead - at least in its pure form. Combined with more free forms it definitely have some (huge) impact. When I back in 1994 wrote my master-thesis - about a structured editor for a specification language I probably was a bit naive.
Nevertheless some people are still trying to work it out. I recently discovered Kirill Osenkov's work on structured editor for C#. Well, good luck.
